Who are we?
We
are Afghan immigrants living in Austria. We came to faith in Jesus
Christ and have accepted Him as our Lord and Savior
and live according to His commandments.
We have different
parts of Afghanistan, having different backgrounds, nationalities
(Pashtun, Hazra and Tajik), levels of life style (citizens
and village people) and levels of education (high and low, literate and
illiterate). But we are all one and the same in Jesus Christ. We live
in harmony and love each other as brothers and sisters.
Our Church came to exist in March 2003 as a small group of Afghan
seekers who came together to seek answers to our questions.
On the 26th of
October 2003 we had our first church service in our own language Dari,
worshiping God Yahweh (Yahweh is the real name of God, the creator of
heaven and earth and all visible and invisible creatures) in songs and praying to Him and teaching His
Holy Word. It was a feast for us all. God knows how happy we were to
have that day - for the first time in Austrian History there was a Church meeting of
Afghans in Austria. Praise the Lord for His great mercy upon us!
We
are Christians, that means we are followers of Jesus Christ and live
according His teachings.
We call our
church a Baptist Church because we have come to affirm the Baptist
Doctrine as being faithful to the teachings of the Bible. |

ما کی هستيم؟
ما مهاجرين افغان هستيم که
در اطريش اقامت داريم. ما عيسی مسيح را منحيث ناجی و سرور خود قبول کرده
ايم و مطالق اوامر او زندگی ميکنيم. ما از نقاط مختلف افغانستان بوده، با
داشتن گذشته هائی متفاوت، مليت هائی متفاوت(پشتون، هزره و تاجک)، طرز
زندگيهائی متفاوت(شهری و دهاتی) و سطوح دانشی متفاوت (عالی وپائين،
بيسواد و با سواد) در نام مقدس عيسی مسيح گرد هم آمده در دوستی و صميميت
در همآهنگی مانند برادر و خواهر زندگی ميکنيم. ما خود را از ديگران
برتر و مهمتر نميدانيم چون در عيسی مسيح همه ئی ما يکی هستيم.
کليسای ما در مارچ 2003 از
يک گروه کوچک افغانها که در جستجو حقيقت(جواب به سوالاتشان) برآمده
بودند، به کمک خداوند بنا يافت.
در 26 اکتوبر 2003 اولين
گردهم آيی کليسايی خود را در زبان دری داشتيم. برای خداوند يهوه (يهوه
نام اصلی خداوند، هستی دهنده زمين و آسمان و همه موجودات ديدنی و ناديدنی
است.)سرودهائی پرستشی خوانديم، دعا کرديم و از کلام مقدسش آموختيم. آن
روز برای ما مانند يک جشن بود. خداوند ميداند که چقدر خوش بوديم که در تاريخ
اطريش اين اولين بار بود که افغانهائی مسيحی گردهم آمده بودند. خداوند را
برای اينکه ما را سزاوار بززگترين رحمت خود دانسته است، جلال و شکوه باد!
ما مسيحی هستيم، يعنی که
پيروان مسيح بوده از تعاليم او در همه ئی امور استفاده مينمائيم.
